CALKS FERRY
INTERCHANGE PROJECT

The County of Lexington (County), through coordination with SC Department of Transportation (SCDOT) and Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), proposes a new full access interchange at the existing Interstate 20 (I-20) overpass at Calks Ferry Road (S-278). The project also includes additional roadway improvements along Calks Ferry Road such as potential widening, turn lanes, and intersection improvements. The Project Study Area (PSA) encompasses I-20 approximately 2000-feet northeast and southwest of the overpass. The northern terminus of the PSA is the intersection of Two Notch Road, and the southern terminus incorporates the intersections of Sherwood Drive and Cheryse Drive.
